We are still struggling to find a fitting physical form for ‘Mozfest Live’ other than a screen-based appliction. However we are certain that it will utilise the fnctions of Skype to provide a live visual interface to all the content of the festival.

Our content for this ‘App’ will be driven by the participants of the festival, they will be given a microphone to connect to their mobile phone, they will ‘phone’ the Mozfest Live and the live video feed can be selected by a viewer back at the cube.

We want Mozfest Live to have that journalistic feel of a newsroom with the values of Mozilla Festival – Media, Freedom & the Web. All the content will be generated by the festival-goers and it will be used to guide others around. Another feature of Mozfest Live could be that of communication between viewer and event, with the option of asking questions and video conferencing.
