Experimenting with photography

Considering I have been focussing on recording audio with photography as a metaphor I decided it could be useful to explore photography further to see if any interesting insights came up. Normally I use a 35mm analog point and shoot camera (Olympus mju:I) however, I decided to book a digital SLR from the university so I would have more functions and uncommon ground to play with. Here’s a handful of the pictures I’ve taken over the last week. I’ve grown very fond of manual focus. Also, I’ve tried to keep most of my photography specific to events rather than stationary objects of which I had no involvement with. It seemed like the correct thing to do considering the style of audio my recording device is intended to capture.
